Every member of our team is truly important and has a meaningful role. We only strive to invite stunning colleagues to join our team. These are those rare individuals who, when they come together, form a team far more significant than the sum of its parts.
An authentic teammate at BizLab seeks to do what is best for the whole team (each other) rather than pursue their own agenda. We understand that our individual and team success is dependent on how we synchronize our efforts to accomplish our goals. Each day presents an opportunity to make a difference, and we understand that the only way to make an impact is to work as a team.
We also understand that when working as a team, conflict is inevitable. We embrace differences in opinion and always discuss every viewpoint presented. It makes us smarter and more talented. It gives us an edge. Because we respect each other, conflict is not viewed as inherently negative. We do not take difference of opinion personally, because we know that we are working together as a team to achieve shared goals.
None of us is as smart as all of us.
We value those that make time to help others. We expect everyone share information openly and proactively. Egos over good ideas don't work in the BizLab world (we tend to eject those people like a virus). Above all, we want people and leaders who enjoy serving others.
