As the Chief Financial Officer at BizLab, Rob is responsible for ensuring the long term viability of the organization from a financial standpoint, as well as providing insight on new opportunities from an operations standpoint. Rob joined BizLab in 2008 as a business analyst. His background in multi-unit financial operations and management gave him the skills he needed to quickly climb the ranks and assume his position as CFO.
One of Rob's favorite aspects of BizLab is the company's dedication to constant improvement. "The best ideas always win," Rob says. "It doesn't matter whose mouth they come from." Rob feels lucky to work for a company where team members at any level have an equal say in the direction of the business. An employee who has been with BizLab for one month has as much chance of having their voice heard as a long-standing executive, and egos never get in the way when determining whose plan is best for the team.
Rob's greatest passion is being at home with his new family. He describes his wife, who works as a registered nurse in the Milwaukee area, as his rock. "I'm very proud of her and her compassion for others," Rob says. Together, they have a one year old son who brings a smile to Rob's face every day. Rob has played hockey since the age of three, but has taken a short hiatus from the sport to focus on his family.
Rob earned his bachelors degree in Business Economics and Political Science from Marquette University.
